Day 1 at Annual Conference

Day One of Annual Conference was surprising, warm in spirit and very warm, temperature-wise! Thankfully, on Monday when I arrived, I could unload my supplies for 2 tables so I did not need to do the heavy-lifting. But I started the day by setting up the Global Ministries table, then the Friends of Padhar Schools table. The exhibit space is a long foyer and our tables were all the way at the end, but what I thought would be a determent turned out to be a BLESSING! I was able to pull another table to make an “L” to display our books! (I’ll get a picture of the book table today) and we were right next to the bathrooms and Registration - lots of foot traffic!

We had many visitors and “shoppers” on Day One and in total we made $463 in purchases and $100 in student sponsorships! Now to set up for Day 2!
